What This Bill Does
Modifies the meeting frequency requirements for county bail bond boards, specifically for counties with populations under 1.3 million that contain a municipality of 750,000 or more. Such boards will now be required to meet at least six times per year during specific months (January, March, May, July, September, and November), instead of the previous monthly requirement. The bill also ensures that if a license renewal application is pending, the current license remains valid until the next board meeting, providing continuity for bail bond license holders.
