relating to the repeal of certain laws regulating abortion and the
construction of abortion statutes.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1.  Section 171.005, Health and Safety Code, is
Sec. 171.005.  COMMISSION TO ENFORCE[; EXCEPTION].  The
commission shall enforce this chapter [except for Subchapter H,
which shall be enforced exclusively through the private civil
enforcement actions described by Section 171.208 and may not be
SECTION 2.  The following provisions are repealed:
(1)  Section 30.022, Civil Practice and Remedies Code;
(2)  Section 311.036, Government Code;
(3)  Chapter 170A, Health and Safety Code;
(4)  Subchapter H, Chapter 171, Health and Safety Code;
(5)  Chapter 6-1/2, Title 71, Revised Statutes.
SECTION 3.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
