relating to radiation warning labels on electric vehicles. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter J, Chapter 2301, Occupations Code, is amended by adding Section 2301.484 to read as follows: Sec. 2301.484. REQUIRED RADIATION WARNING LABEL ON ELECTRIC VEHICLES. (a) In this section, "electric vehicle" means a motor vehicle powered only by electricity or battery. (b) A manufacturer of electric vehicles shall include on each electric vehicle produced by the manufacturer a warning label indicating the level of radiation produced by the electric vehicle. (c) The board shall adopt any rules necessary to implement SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
