relating to toll service fees charged by vehicle rental companies. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 91, Business & Commerce Code, is amended by adding Section 91.0551 to read as follows: Sec. 91.0551. TOLL SERVICE FEES. (a) Subject to Subsection (b), a rental company may charge a renter a service fee for the use of a toll road in the rental vehicle that does not exceed $5 per day. (b) A fee charged under this section may not exceed the amount of the total tolls incurred during the term of the rental SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
