relating to the information required for payment of services provided through the Thriving Texas Families Program. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 54.005, Health and Safety Code, as added by Chapter 1033 (S.B. 24), Acts of the 88th Legislature, Regular Session, 2023, is amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as (c) A network contractor or service provider who requests payment for services provided through the program shall submit the request on a form the commission prescribes. The form must include: (1) an anonymized assigned number corresponding with (2) the client's anonymized signature verifying the client was provided information and instruction on accessing the program's pregnancy-related resources and information web page on the commission's Internet website during each client interaction, including an in-person visit, continuous online interaction, and (3) the date, time, type, and location of each client (4) the name of any employee who provided a service (5) an itemized list of each service, material item, or referral provided to an unduplicated client during each client SECTION 2. (a) Not later than November 1, 2025, the Health and Human Services Commission shall develop and make publicly available on the commission's Internet website the form required by Section 54.005(c), Health and Safety Code, as added by this Act. (b) Notwithstanding Section 54.005(c), Health and Safety Code, as added by this Act, a network contractor or service provider is not required to submit a form required by that subsection until SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
