What This Bill Does

Strengthens property owners' rights in Texas property tax appeals by requiring appraisal review boards to provide written orders when considering motions or protests about property appraisals. The bill ensures that property owners cannot be denied the right to have their motions or protests fully considered and determined by the board, and grants them the right to appeal the board's written order. This provides more transparency and procedural protections for property owners challenging their property tax assessments.
