relating to the designation of Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, and Diwali BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 662.003(c), Government Code, is amended (c) An "optional holiday" includes only the days on which Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, the third day of Diwali, or Good Friday falls. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
