BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1.  Section 552.234, Government Code, is amended by
adding Subsections (e) and (f) to read as follows:
(e)  On or before October 1 of each year, a governmental body
subject to the requirements of this Chapter must notify the
attorney general of the mailing address and electronic mail address
designated by the governmental body for receiving written requests
(f)  The attorney general shall create and maintain on its
public Internet website a publicly accessible database of the
mailing address and electronic mail address provided by each
governmental body under subsection (e) for receiving written
requests for public information.
Section 2.  This Act takes effect immediately if it receives a
vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
