What This Bill Does

Modifies early voting procedures for political subdivisions participating in joint elections, requiring them to conduct early voting jointly and appoint a single early voting clerk to manage the process. This change streamlines election administration by ensuring a coordinated approach when multiple political entities hold concurrent elections. The new requirement takes effect on September 1, 2025, giving local governments time to prepare for the updated election management protocol.
