relating to the oversight of Thurgood Marshall School of Law at BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 106, Education Code, is amended by adding Section 106.315 to read as follows: Sec. 106.315. BOARD OVERSIGHT OF SCHOOL OF LAW. (a) In this section, "administrator" has the meaning assigned by Section (b) The board shall directly oversee the general management of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern (c) Notwithstanding any other law or policy, each administrator of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University shall report directly to the board as necessary or appropriate regarding any matter under the board's authority or control, in lieu of making a report to the president of the SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
