What This Bill Does

Modifies the hours and days when alcohol can be sold in Texas, particularly for wine and liquor. Wine-only package stores can now sell malt beverages, wine, and vinous liquors for off-premises consumption on any day and during standard retail hours. The bill removes previous restrictions on Sunday sales and late-night sales, allowing more flexibility for alcohol retailers while maintaining prohibitions on sales on certain holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year's Day.
