What This Bill Does

Creates a new wine, malt beverage, and food permit for wineries and breweries that operate restaurants on their premises. The permit allows these manufacturers to sell their own wine and malt beverages directly to consumers for on-site consumption, with the requirement that food must always be available. Permit holders must provide detailed documentation to the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, including menus, equipment lists, operational hours, sales data, and a restaurant floor plan, and must maintain comprehensive sales records for potential inspection.
