Focused Advocacy continues to set best practices for local government and utility-related advocacy at the Texas Capitol. Their legislative advocacy team has more than 100 years of combined experience. Seidlits, before founding Focused Advocacy, was Senior Vice President of Public Affairs for Energy Future Holdings (formerly TXU Corp). Carr joined in 2010 to establish the firm's lobby practice and local government advocacy group, with his primary focus being representing the needs of local governments before the Texas Legislature.
