relating to the definition of crosswalk for the purpose of motor vehicle collisions involving a pedestrian or other vulnerable road user within the area of a crosswalk. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 545.428(a), Transportation Code, is amended by amending Subdivision (1) and adding Subdivision (1-a) to (1) "Crosswalk" has the meaning assigned by Section (1-a) "Electric personal assistive mobility device" has the meaning assigned by Section 551.201. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
