relating to the authority of certain counties to enact certain park BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Sections 320.0455(a) and (b-1), Local Government Code, are amended to read as follows: (a) This section applies only to a county with a population (2) 800,000 or more that is adjacent to a county with a population of 2.8 million or more; [or] (3) more than 550,000 and less than 620,000; or (4) less than 75,000 that is adjacent to three counties with populations of more than 450,000. (b-1) A board created for a county described by Subsection (a)(2) or (a)(4) may not adopt rules relating to the use of SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
