management in connection with insertion or removal of prescription
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1.  Section 1369.1031, Insurance Code, is amended by
adding Subsection (e) to read as follows:
(e)  A health benefit plan that provides benefits for
prescription contraceptive devices must provide coverage of
evidence-based anxiety and pain management related to the insertion
SECTION 2.  The change in law made by this Act applies only
to a health benefit plan that is delivered, issued for delivery, or
renewed on or after January 1, 2026.
SECTION 3.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
