Bill Text
relating to health benefit plan coverage of anxiety and pain management in connection with insertion or removal of prescription BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 1369.1031, Insurance Code, is amended by adding Subsection (e) to read as follows: (e) A health benefit plan that provides benefits for prescription contraceptive devices must provide coverage of evidence-based anxiety and pain management related to the insertion SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies only to a health benefit plan that is delivered, issued for delivery, or renewed on or after January 1, 2026. SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
