BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1.  Subchapter A, Chapter 21, Education Code, is
amended by adding Section 21.0063 to read as follows:
Sec. 21.0063.  NOTICE OF CERTAIN EDUCATOR MISCONDUCT.
(a) If, after investigation by a school district or open-enrollment
charter school, there is reason to believe that a district or school
educator engaged in misconduct described by Section
21.006(b)(2)(A-1) with a student enrolled at the district or
school, the district or school shall provide written notice of the
misconduct to each parent or guardian of a student enrolled in the
