relating to the creation of an additional county civil court at law BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 25.1031(a), Government Code, is amended (a) Harris County has the following county civil courts at (1) County Civil Court at Law No. 1 of Harris County, (2) County Civil Court at Law No. 2 of Harris County, (3) County Civil Court at Law No. 3 of Harris County, (4) County Civil Court at Law No. 4 of Harris County, (5) County Civil Court at Law No. 5 of Harris County, SECTION 2. The County Civil Court at Law No. 5 of Harris County is created on the effective date of this Act. SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
