relating to allowing a member of the State Board of Education to employ a person to assist in performing the member's duties. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 7, Education Code, is amended by adding Section 7.1051 to read as follows: Sec. 7.1051. STAFF. Each member of the board may employ one person to assist the member in performing the duties and accomplishing the purposes of the office. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
