relating to an annual report by the comptroller of public accounts on certain issues regarding the employment of veterans in this BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 403, Government Code, is amended by adding Section 403.0306 to read as follows: Sec. 403.0306. REPORT ON CERTAIN VETERAN EMPLOYMENT ISSUES. Not later than December 31 of each year, the comptroller shall prepare and submit to the legislature a report that, for the period (1) measures the effect of veteran-owned businesses on the gross domestic product of this state; and (A) the number of employed and unemployed (B) the number of veteran-owned businesses in SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
