relating to access to an adult changing station in the Capitol.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1.  Chapter 443, Government Code, is amended by
adding Section 443.031 to read as follows:
Sec. 443.031.  ADULT CHANGING STATION.  (a)  The board shall
provide in the Capitol an adult changing station in one or more
restrooms or changing facilities accessible to the general public.
Each station must provide a private space to persons using the
station and include an adjustable height table.
(b)  The board shall post in a conspicuous place a sign with
clear language indicating the location in the Capitol of each
restroom or changing facility with an adult changing station.
SECTION 2.  As soon as practicable after the effective date
of this Act, the State Preservation Board shall establish a place in
the Capitol for a person to use a changing station as required by
Section 443.031, Government Code, as added by this Act.
SECTION 3.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
