relating to the membership of the Texas Groundwater Protection
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1.  Section 26.403(c), Water Code, is amended to
(c)  The committee is composed of:
(1)  the executive director of the commission;
(2)  the executive administrator of the Texas Water
(3)  the executive director of the Railroad Commission
(4)  the commissioner of state health services [of the
(5)  the deputy commissioner of the Department of
(5-a)  the executive director of the Parks and Wildlife
(6)  the executive director of the State Soil and Water
(7)  the executive director [Director] of [the] Texas
A&M AgriLife Research [Agricultural Experiment Station];
(8)  the director of the Bureau of Economic Geology of
The University of Texas at Austin;
(9)  a representative selected by the Texas Alliance of
(10)  a representative of the Water Well Drillers and
Water Well Pump Installers Program of the Texas Department of
Licensing and Regulation selected by the executive director of the
SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
