relating to the procedure for closing a polling place. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 61.002, Election Code, is amended by adding Subsection (e) to read as follows: (e) Any watcher present, but not more than three, may sign a tape printed under this section. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
