relating to the authority of a county to cancel subdivisions in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of a municipality. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 232.008(a), Local Government Code, is (a) This section applies only to real property located (1) a municipality; [municipalities] and (2) the area in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of a municipality not subject to an agreement described by: (B) Section 242.001(d)(3) that apportions the area to a county [municipalities, as determined under Chapter 42]. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
