relating to educational and informational materials provided through the Thriving Texas Families Program. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 54.003, Health and Safety Code, as added by Chapter 1033 (S.B. 24), Acts of the 88th Legislature, Regular Session, 2023, is amended by adding Subsection (b-1) to read as (b-1) Educational and informational materials provided through the program, including lesson curricula and promotional (1) may include only medically accurate and scientifically supported information; (2) must be provided in a non-coercive, factual (3) may not explicitly endorse any religious ideology, SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
