relating to driver's license office appointments. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 521.002, Transportation Code, is amended Sec. 521.002. CONVENIENCE TO PUBLIC. (a) The department shall implement its duties under this chapter in the manner that provides the greatest convenience to the public. (b) The department shall provide each person who requests an appointment with a driver's license office an opportunity to schedule an appointment that occurs not later than three business days after the date the appointment is requested. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
