relating to disclosure of information regarding an open-enrollment charter school's management company. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 12, Education Code, is amended by adding Section 12.1212 to read as follows: Sec. 12.1212. DISCLOSURE OF MANAGEMENT COMPANY INFORMATION. (a) An open-enrollment charter school that contracts with a management company to provide management services for the school must post in a prominent location on the school's Internet (1) the management company's name and principal place (2) a link through which a person may request the management company's name and principal place of business. (b) An open-enrollment charter school described by Subsection (a) shall promptly provide to a person who submits a request under Subsection (a)(2) the name and principal place of business of the school's management company. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
