relating to the use of an electronic bulletin board to post public BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. The heading to Section 551.050, Government Code, Sec. 551.050. [MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENTAL BODY:] PLACE AND SECTION 2. Section 551.050, Government Code, is amended by adding Subsections (c) and (d) to read as follows: (c) The validity of a notice posted on an electronic bulletin board by a governmental body that made a good faith attempt to comply with the requirements of Section 551.043 is not affected by a failure to comply with a requirement of this section due to a technical problem beyond the governmental body's control. (d) If another law requires a governmental body to post notice on a bulletin board, the governmental body may comply with that law through the use of an electronic bulletin board. SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
