relating to programs within the Office of the Governor and the Texas Economic Development and Tourism Office. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 490D.051(c), Government Code, is amended (c) The criteria established under Subsection (b)(1) must include a requirement that at least 51% of [all or virtually] all significant parts and processing of a product originated in this SECTION 2. Chapter 490H, Government Code, is repealed. SECTION 3. Sections 481.066(e), Government Code, is amended (e) The governor shall appoint an aerospace and aviation advisory committee consisting of: (1) seven qualified members to assist in the state's economic development efforts to recruit and retain aerospace and aviation jobs and investment; [and] (2) one member for each active spaceport development corporation in the state who represents the interests of each respective spaceport development corporation; [.] and (3) one qualified member from a federal entity or the Armed Forces of the United States entity that serves as a liaison to the office and the aerospace and aviation advisory committee. SECTION 4. Section 481.167(a), Government Code, is amended Sec. 481.167. TEXAS BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CLEARINGHOUSE. (a) The office shall establish the Texas Business and Community Economic Development Clearinghouse to provide information and assistance to businesses and communities in the state [through the use of a statewide toll-free telephone SECTION 5. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
