relating to the revocation of a driver's license and to disqualification from operating a commercial motor vehicle. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. The heading to Section 521.348, Transportation Code, is amended to read as follows: Sec. 521.348. AUTOMATIC REVOCATION FOR CERTAIN SEX SECTION 2. Section 521.348(a), Transportation Code, is (a) A driver's license is automatically revoked if the (1) is subject to the registration requirements of Chapter 62 or 65, Code of Criminal Procedure; and (2) fails to apply to the department for renewal of the license as required by Article 62.060, [or] 62.2021, or 65.058, Code of Criminal Procedure, as applicable. SECTION 3. The following provisions of the Transportation SECTION 4. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
