relating to livestock brand registration expiration.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1.  Sections 144.044, Agriculture Code, is amended
by adding Subsection (e) to read as follows:
(e)  Not later than the 60th day before the date a person's
marks and brands are scheduled to expire under this section, the
county clerk shall send written notice by mail of the impending
expiration to the person at the person's last known address
according to the records of the county.
SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
