relating to notice requirements on state highway projects. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 203.022, Transportation Code , is amended by adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: (d) If the department does not receive a response on or before the 60th day after the date the notice is mailed, the department must make a reasonable effort to locate the property owner and provide notice by personal delivery. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
