relating to the release of certain video surveillance of special BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 29.022, Education Code, is amended by adding Subsection (i-2) to read as follows: (i-2) A video recording of a student made according to this section is not subject to a subpoena issued under Section 2001.089, Government Code, to compel its production unless the release of the video recording is authorized under this section. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
