relating to the salary schedules for regional planning commissions. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 391.0117, Local Government Code, is amended by adding Subsection (b-1) to read as follows: (b-1) A commission serving 200 or more participating governmental units may adopt a salary schedule for classified positions as determined by the commission. SECTION 2. This Act applies only to a salary schedule adopted for a fiscal year beginning on or after the effective date SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
