relating to representatives on groundwater management areas. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 36.108, Texas Water Code, Subsection (a) Sec. 36.108. JOINT PLANNING IN MANAGEMENT AREA. (a) In (1) "Development board" means the Texas Water (2) "District representative" means the presiding officer or the presiding officer's designee for any district located wholly or partly in the management area or, where a county does not have a district, any person appointed by the county SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
