relating to the creation of additional judicial districts composed BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 24, Government Code, is amended by adding Sections 24.60044, 24.60045, 24.60046, 24.60047 and 24.60048, to read as follows: Sec. 24.60044. 512TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (HARRIS COUNTY). (a) The 512th Judicial District is composed of Harris County. Sec. 24.60045. 513TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (HARRIS COUNTY). (a) The 513rd Judicial District is composed of Harris County. Sec. 24.60046. 514TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (HARRIS COUNTY). (a) The 514th Judicial District is composed of Harris County. Sec. 24.60047. 515TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (HARRIS COUNTY). (a) The 515th Judicial District is composed of Harris County. Sec. 24.60048. 516TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (HARRIS COUNTY). (a) The 516th Judicial District is composed of Harris County. SECTION 2. (a) The 512th Judicial District, 513th Judicial District and 514th Judicial District are created on October 1, (b) The 515th Judicial District and the 516th Judicial District are created on October 1, 2026. SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
