relating to the issuance of animal friendly specialty license BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 504.605(a), Transportation Code, is (a) The department shall issue specialty license plates to benefit spay and neuter programs in this state [including the words "Animal Friendly].["] The department shall design the license plates in consultation with the Texas Humane Legislation Network. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
