BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1.  (a) Not later than November 30, 2025, the Texas
Department of Transportation shall transfer the real property
described by Section 2 of this Act to the Texas Department of Public
Safety, including the improvements affixed to the property.
(b)  The Texas Department of Transportation shall transfer
the property by an appropriate instrument of transfer that
describes the property to be transferred by metes and bounds.
(c)  Chapter 202, Transportation Code, and Sections 31.1571,
31.158, and 31.159, Natural Resources Code, do not apply to the
transfer of real property authorized by Subsection (a) of this
SECTION 2.  The real property to which Section 1 of this Act
applies is described as follows:
The real property title to which is held by the Texas
Department of Transportation consisting of the site of the Texas
Department of Transportation maintenance barn and offices,
situated primarily at 715 Pine Street, Woodville, Tyler County,
Texas, constituting 3 acres of land and more particularly described
as A0657 J. Wheat Block 42 Tract 11 Acres 3.0000 by the Tyler County
SECTION 3.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
