What This Bill Does

Directs the Texas Department of Transportation to develop a plan and construct two new bridges in Harris County to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion. Specifically, these bridges will provide grade separation at the intersections of Little York Road and Hirsch Road, and Tidwell Road and Hirsch Road, allowing vehicles to cross over railroad tracks more efficiently. relating to the construction of bridges in Harris County.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1.  For the purpose of reducing traffic congestion
on public roads, the Texas Department of Transportation shall:
(1)  develop a plan, conduct an environmental review,
(A)  a bridge in Harris County crossing the
railroad tracks at the intersection of Little York Road and Hirsch
Road to provide rail-roadway grade separation; and
(B)  a bridge in Harris County crossing the
railroad tracks at the intersection of Tidwell Road and Hirsch Road
to provide rail-roadway grade separation; and
(2)  construct the bridges described by Subdivision
SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
