What This Bill Does

Exempts homeowners' associations (HOAs) from paying sales and use taxes when providing certain informational documents to their members, such as financial records, condominium statements, association declarations, and organizational documents. The exemption applies to information shared directly with HOA members, their representatives, agents, or lenders. By removing tax obligations for these routine communications, the bill reduces administrative costs for HOAs and simplifies their operational processes.
