relating to the labeling and sale of Texas honey. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter E, Chapter 131, Agriculture Code, is amended by adding Section 131.085 to read as follows: Sec. 131.085. USE OF "TEXAS HONEY" ON LABEL. A person may not label, sell, or keep, offer, or expose for sale a product identified on its label as "Texas honey" unless the product consists exclusively of honey produced from apiaries in Texas. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
