What This Bill Does

Modifies the timeline for county chairs to submit lists of eligible early voting ballot board members, establishing specific deadlines based on county population size. In counties, county chairs must submit these lists by either June 30 or July 31 depending on population, and the county election board must then appoint early voting ballot board members accordingly. These changes aim to streamline and standardize the appointment process for early voting ballot boards before general elections for state and county officers.
