What This Bill Does
Modifies fee regulations for the Lost Pines Groundwater district, allowing them to assess production and export fees for water usage. The district can now charge up to $1 per acre-foot for irrigation water and 17 cents per thousand gallons for other water uses, with agricultural water production fees capped at 20% of standard rates. These updated fee structures provide clearer guidelines for water usage fees while maintaining limits to prevent excessive charges.
