What This Bill Does

Specifies the exact periods when retail fireworks permit holders can legally sell fireworks to the public in Texas, which include specific dates around holidays and cultural celebrations like Independence Day, Diwali, Christmas, and Memorial Day. These permitted sales periods range from short windows like February 25-27 and May 1-5 to longer periods such as December 20-January 1 and June 24-July 4. The law provides clear, consistent guidelines for fireworks retailers about when they can sell their products, ensuring public safety and regulated commerce during specific times of the year.
