What This Bill Does
Modifies the date when Texas presidential electors meet at the State Capitol, changing their mandatory meeting time from the first Monday to the first Tuesday after the second Wednesday in December. The change updates the existing Election Code and will take effect on September 1, 2025, potentially providing additional flexibility for the state's electoral process. The adjustment appears to be a technical amendment to the existing election procedures with no significant broader impact on voting or election processes.
