What This Bill Does

Modifies the online voter registration process by requiring the Texas Secretary of State's website to display a mandatory message when users complete a voter registration application. The message must clearly state that completing the online form does not automatically register a person to vote and that the application must still be submitted to the local voter registrar. The website must prevent users from proceeding further until they electronically acknowledge this information, ensuring voters understand the full registration process.
