BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1.  Subchapter C, Chapter 8850, Special District
Local Laws Code, is amended by adding Section 8850.0305 to read as
Sec. 8850.0305.  REGULATION OF STRUCTURES NEAR MEDINA LAKE.
(a)  The district may regulate the construction of structures
within the boundaries of the district below the high water line of
(b)  The district may adopt rules to govern the issuance of
permits for the construction of structures within the boundaries of
the district below the high water line of Medina Lake.  Rules
adopted under this section must exempt from a permitting
requirement structures constructed by a political subdivision.
SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
