What This Bill Does
Requires school district bond or debt propositions to be voted on only during the November uniform election date in even-numbered years. The legislation mandates that any existing laws requiring bond elections on other dates must be adjusted to comply with this new requirement. This change aims to standardize school district bond election timing and potentially increase voter participation by aligning these important financial decisions with regular election cycles.
