What This Bill Does

Modifies the leadership selection process for the Parker County juvenile board by requiring the board to elect one of its own members as chairman, rather than automatically designating the judge of the 43rd Judicial District to that role. The change gives the juvenile board more autonomy in selecting its leadership and takes effect on September 1, 2025, potentially impacting how the board governs juvenile justice matters in Parker County.
