What This Bill Does

Requires Texas courts to report detailed information about landlord and tenant dispute cases, including types of suits like utility disconnections, security deposits, and unlawful lockouts. The Office of Court Administration will publish these case details on a publicly accessible website, with searchable information about the court, legal representation, and case disposition. The goal is to create transparency and provide accessible public information about landlord-tenant legal disputes, with implementation set to begin on September 1, 2025.
